Sarah Palin, A Breath of Fresh Air.

It is refreshing to see Sarah Palin's down to earth appeal.  She is such a huge contrast to the shrill elitists such as Pelosi, Hillary, Babara Boxer, and those who act as though we the people are nothing but mindless boobs, unable to think for ourselves, needing to be controlled and kept dependent under the nanny state growing ever larger.

Palin is a successful human being, who decided she had had enough of corrupt politicians pushing the people around for their own agrandizement. She decided to do something about it, and did. She ran for Mayor, then Governor. An American success story. Something to be admired and emulated. This is the story of America... and this is what the elitists hate.

The elite media and the blame- America- first- crowd  on the left will go after her with everything they've got. Those who divide Americans into groups to create disharmony and bitterness among us will do their best to crush her. I think she is up to the task. Are we?

The next few weeks will reveal whether "we the people" who believe in less government intrusion in our lives still have the power to overcome the odds. The battle is ours to win.

I Love it When the Media Is Caught By Surprise...

The media leftitsts thought they had succeeded in coronating their guy...then came Palin. McCain took a risk, and chose a dynamo who has won the hearts of Americans. There were more people watching our guy last night than their guy in Denver, and more watched the moose hunter from Alaska, than "the one" from Chicago...

I really got a laugh when Andrea Mitchell had to smile for the first time while covering the GOP convention...at the end of McCain's speech when the baloons dropped (successfully), she was lost in the flood, and she couldn't be seen. The people around her were batting balloons back and forth and she couldn't make headway. The other comentors were laughing as well, and there was a fun moment, when they called her "boom boom Mitchell".

The leftist media is now in a tizzy...how to get their guy in the White House after McCain caught them totally by surprise and chose his fabulous running mate. It makes their ticket look pretty boring, dull and out of touch. I love it.

Someone needs to write a song..."And Then Came Palin".

A Hero Americans Can Love. McCain Struck a Chord.

Finally Americans had a chance to see McCain for who he is. The first glimpse was at the Presidential Forum. The second was when he chose Sarah Palin. The third was his speech last night.

America saw in McCain for the first time, a man shaped by the experiences of war. A man who understands the horrors of war, who hates war, who's family has been a huge part of protecting and defending our homeland from the threats of dangerous dictators and nations who would threaten our freedom. I was proud.

Now the campaign really begins!

The GOP is Back!

Sarah Palin just brought the GOP back from the dead! McCain is a brilliant man! The leftwing media simply do not know what just happened! The picture of that sweet family, a very handsome family, was extremely moving, and had to make the "sarcastic media" feel rather stupid, after all the insults directed at Palin's daughter, who showed up with her future husband!

It is a riot to watch the media calling Sarah Palin "sarcastic". Gosh! What would they call Obama then? The media just got run over by a Mac truck, and they don't know what hit 'em!

One of many great lines of the night, was the "styrofoam greek collums" going back to a Hollywood set after the lights went out in Denver! That was priceless!

This night was the second nail in the Obama coffin. The Saddleback Forum was the first.

Who Would Make the Best First Lady? Michelle Obama or Cindy McCain?

We have been comparing Obama and McCain, Biden and Palin, personalities and experience, age and youth, but no one has been focused on First Lady.
Who would be the best role model in the White House? Frankly, having someone as First Lady who was in a church who's pastor said things like "not God bless America, but God D** America" among other disturbing things, and who said as the wife of the dem candidate that "this is the first time in my adult life I have been proud of my country " speaking of her husband being the democrat candidate for president, makes me think she would be a bad role model.

Cindy McCain on the other hand is quite appealing. She is strong, compassionate, has a record of being bold,( she was in Georgia after the Russian invasion, adopted a child from Mother Teresa's orphanage) is a successful businesswoman in her own right.  We will get to hear from her tonight. It will be interesting comparing her speech at the convention, to Michelle's at the dem extravaganza.

What a Contrast in Conventions!

I'm inspired, energized, amazed, and proud to be in the Grand Old Party the GOP!
It's patriotism vs blame America first! It's lifting up vs whinning and put downs. It's hometown vs the elites looking down on the rest of us!

It's great to see a party standing for more than it's own interest! The first family -to- be is an example to the elitists in the beltway who do nothing but bad mouth our country. Enough! We are going to win this election come hell or high water!

Our country is at stake!

The Politics of Personal Destruction... Alive and Well on the Left.

The left  is having a cow over McCain's brilliant choice of Sarah Palin for his running mate. They didn't have a woman who cut the mustard for Obama, and his choice was, well, underwhelming. Biden is basically a crooked leftist, who gets favors, plagiarizes other people's material, but no big deal.

Then again, you have a conservative woman who is a success, strong  and personable, who could actually wind up in the White House down the road! What can the left do about that? Not much, so they go after her family. Wow.

My prediction is this is going to backfire bigtime. The politics of personal destruction is alive and well on the left, with their surrogates in the media doing the dem's work for them.

Did the dems say they want to "end the politics of personal destruction"? Or... did I imagine that?

Did McCain Knock the Wind out of the Obama/Biden Sails?

McCain has managed to pull one on the Media and the Obama/Biden campaign. The Maverick has shocked the world of American politics.
The pick of a woman for VP puts the Media in a difficult position. I've never seen Andrea Mitchell with a loss for words...the announcement of Sarah Palin, a young woman, on the McCain ticket threw her for a loop...she was literally without words!

This will be interesting to see. The media didn't say much about Condi putting millions of cracks in the "glass ceiling". Mac has trumped the Obama ticket, and the air is out of their sails...what will the media do now?

Well Barack...Great Teleprompter Reading...Now Let's See You Debate.

Nice job reading your speech. The teleprompter saved you again, unlike the Presidential Forum, where you actually had to do some thinking. Nice setting , nice music, nice plattitudes..."we will march ahead and not turn back! March into the future!"

The rock star had a star studded evening. You look good! Great show! Empty suit, empty rhetoric...but sweet.

Now it's McCain's turn, and then we will see if you accept a debate or two, and the American people will decide...do they want symbolism or substance.

Worse Than Water Boarding...

Well, I have come to the conclusion that watching the dem convention is worse than torture...we should use that on the terrorists to get information out of the creeps instead of water boarding...it would be way more effective! Hours of the dem convention...what could be worse?
I cannot figure out what motivates people to sit for hours listening to the leftwing drivel! How exciting is it to hear how awful our country is, how we're not paying enough taxes, how the world hates us, how our image aroung the world is in the tank, how nobody has healthcare, how we need more money for government schools for the "children", how everyone is threatened with AIDS, how global warming is going to burn us alive if we don't give up oil!

I've got a headache...

Uh Oh...Is There Buyers Remorse in Denver?

Well, Hillary did her due dilligence tonight. She gave her support to Barack. She looked good, sounded good, and I bet her delegates aren't happy. I also have a feeling the people watching out in the hinterland are getting buyer's remorse...how will ol' Barack out do Hill?  She didn't say "uh" once. But, of course, Barack will have the teleprompter, so guess there's no need to worry...

Tomorrow we get to see Bill brag about the 90's when he was president, and remind everyone how wonderful it was in the Clinton days.

I don't know...I think there's some buyers remorse out there among those who voted for Barack...and there's anger among Hillary's folks. Don't know about the unity thing in the dem party right now. We'll see what happens in the polls...

Michelle Obama's Mixed Messages.

Michelle Obama looked really nice giving her speech at the convention. If you didn't know what she had said previously you would think she is a regular flag waving American!

The fact that she loves her husband and worries about her kid's future is really nice. That is a great thing, and should be every wife's priority. However, you wonder how it is that someone who worries about their kids future wouldn't mind hanging out with the likes of Rev. Wright and William Ayers! What kind of message does that send to the little ones?

Let's face it, Michelle Obama is speaking out of both sides of her mouth, just like her husband. On the one hand she loves her country, on the other hand she's hasn't been proud of her country her whole adult life.

Unfortunately we don't know for sure what the Obama's have been teaching their girls, and what they really believe about America. Is it the Rev. Wright's theology of pro-Africa anti-America, where the rich white man has been holding the blacks down? Is it the un-repentant terrorist William Ayer's vision of America, where he wished he had done more damage in the bombing of the Pentagon? Hmmm...I'm confused.

The Dem Dream Team.

Wow, who would have thought...Obama/Biden... the dems must be proud. Their presidential candidate a community organizer, who can't speak without a teleprompter and  hangs out with anti-America radicals... and the Veep, famous plagiarist with foot in mouth desease.

Two men who have left their mark in the world...uh, well, in their neighborhoods, at least...Ob got a sweet deal from a man now in prison on a house he couldn't afford, and Biden, well, his carbon footprint must be quite large...his house looks like a compound around the corner from the Kennedy's. Now there's a team the common man can identify with! Ol' Barack and Joe, the dem dream team!

Oh well, life goes on. It's looking good for McCain.

Let's See, Obama is Patriotic.

Obama should say "read my lips, I'm patriotic".

" I went to a church where my pastor preached pro-African/ anti-American messages and praised Farakan...I was only there twenty years, thus didn't notice he didn't like the country"!

"I'm patriotic,  I hung out with a guy who bombed the Pentagon and is a Marxist, but I wasn't aware of his extremist views". "I'm patriotic, I went to Berlin to proclaim I'm a citizen of the world ".

The left is always complaining when someone questions their patriotism. Could it be what they say and do, per chance?

Rush, Where Have You Been? This Wasn't McCain's First Good Moment!

McCain has been showing his intelect, sincerity, honesty, knowledge and life experience on the campaign trail, while you've been criticising him, Rush! He allows leftists to ask questions at townhall meetings, answers them directly, with humor and character.Where have you been? McCain is really good talking to people in open forums. He's very down to earth and approachable, but strong.

Of all people, Rush, you should have been paying attention! While the media was giving McCain little "clips", as they followed their candidate around the world to Berlin, McCain was knocking them out of the park, and you missed it!

Welcome aboard, Rush...you're a little late to the game.
